Yes. ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Dance requires auditions for all degrees: BA in Dance, BS in Dance Science, and BFA.
The audition will last 2 to 2.5 hours.
Yes, ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Dance offers a minor. If you are interested in taking majors level technique class and auditioning for Department concerts, you must pass the Minor Technique Screening (MTS). The MTS is offered in August and February. More information about the MTS is available on our Minor in Dance page.
Although many of our dance majors have been a part of the Long Beach State Dance team, it is not part of ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Dance. Please visit the for more information.
