The ºÚÁÏ³Ô¹Ï Accessible Technology Initiative (ATI) works to improve accessibility policies and practices. The ATI website contains key resources to assist you in meeting accessibilty compliance requirements:
Bob Murphy Access Center (BMAC)
The Bob Murphy Access Center supports students with disabilities through a wide range of programs:
- Autism Services: The LIFE Project (Learning Independence for Empowerment)
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing Support Services
- Learning Disability Program
- Workability IV Career & Job Placement Program
- Event accessibility, including real-time captioning and ASL interpreting
Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) Center
The Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) Center, part of the Bob Murphy Access Center (BMAC), is a technology and accessibility resource for students, faculty, and staff focusing on:
- Supporting faculty in creating accessible instructional materials.
- Providing accommodations for students' diverse needs.
- Offering an open assistive technology computer lab for students.
Technology Procurement Services
Procurement Services reviews for accessibility compliance before new technology can be obtained or purchased. Examples of technology requiring approval includes:
- Copiers/printers, kiosks, desktop and portable computers
- Instructional equipment and applications
- Video and multimedia products, software, operating systems, web applications
